Weigh-In 3/1/10

Sorry this is late again, trying to work my way back to the land of the living. Haven't ran since just before Valentine's since my present was pneumonia. I started back to work Monday also back to playing and coaching soccer. Thought I was getting sick again with a sore throat but realized that I am very vocal during soccer and I haven't been vocal for nearly three weeks. Have been doing yoga. Love the On Demand feature on cable, I get Exercise TV On Demand, go to the Yoga section and pick a video. Found one the seems like a good fit for running called Yoga Fitness Fusion and Sportskool offers Yoga for Runners (another good one) every once in awhile. Hopefully I'll be running again by last weigh-in. My ultimate weight loss goal will be to get under 200 lbs.

Same Old Story

Still on same weight for past two weeks. I've just finished my two week course and did manage to get some runs in on week one but only one in on week two and missed my long run. Ran 6.2 with the club last night and cycled in to work today. Will cycle in for next two days because I have physical safety training (fighting) and could do with not being too tired to defend myself. Friday I'm doing a fifteen mile mountain run in mid Wales with a couple of pals and will hopefully get some blog material. All that said. If I don't at least lose another pound minimum then I will have to revert to using a meat slicer or amputation.

Woohoo Mount 10 conquered.. in eight weeks...

Weighed myself and now down another 2 pounds, so thats 10 in 8 weeks. Provided i gain no more in the next fortnight i will have completed the challenge.

Now my next goal is the next 8 pounds. I do that and i'm in the 13 stone mark and the lightest i have been in 12 years :)

Best Expectations

So I flatlined for last week and I am pleasantly surprised by that. Had a REALLY stressful week with very little running and whole lot of comfort eating, so to have not gained is a very pleasant surprise.

Today is bright and sunny and I had a great long morning commute run with a full pack and felt really good. I am determined to have a better week this week!

Yes! Back on track!

Down two this week now that I'm not travelling and celebrating. Half marathon next weekend should set me up just right to do the same again next week if I'm good...
